TABO INSERTION WAGON The TABO insertion machine is an electro-hydraulic arrangement on rails lowered in the floor, permitting the charging arms to descend below the floor level. Thereby the bier holding the coffin can easily be wheeled into position between the arms. The coffin is then lifted and the bier wheeled aside under the arms. The insertion door is opened by an electric motor and the insertion machine moves toward the cremator. The coffin is carefully lowered on the ceramic floor of the cremator, the machine retracts and the door closes. The respectful lifting and forward motions are aesthetically far more desirable than the rather crude manual pushing of a coffin into the combustion chamber, which can be seen at a number of crematoria. Furthermore, the brickwork lasts much longer with the gentle TABO procedure and the coffins are always placed exactly in the correct position. The insertion door and the insertion can always be operated manually in case of power failure. Options The insertion wagon could both be delivered for two-level buildings as well as one-level (flat floor). We call them low and high insertion machine. There are also two other options: Automatic Manual Manual Insertion is made by hand. The wagon is easy to move on rails built in the floor. The wagon and the insertion door are controlled from a panel on the insertion machine. Automatic Insertion is performed automatically in order to get a improved working environment for the operator. Due to security reasons it is possible to switch from automatic to manual mode any time during insertion. |
